Thanks to its proximity to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, residents can take advantage of the huge array of sports facilities on offer. Alternatively, there’s always fine art at the Stour Space or shopping for vintage clothing at The Wick market.
Things To Do With The Kids
Kids can take advantage of the luscious gardens of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park or head for a walk or cycle along the tow-paths that line the canal network that weaves its way through Hackney Wick.
Hackney Wick has excellent road links via the A12 connecting it to Canary Wharf and north London. The recent installation of the East London Overground line also allows easy access to Stratford, Westfield and Victoria line at Highbury & Islington.
Trains
Hackney Wick is on a branch of the East London Line which connects it to Stratford in the east and Hackney Central and Highbury & Islington in the north.
Buses
There are a number of buses connecting Hackney Wick to the city and further afield.
